Hale BOB is made from rigid casting foam, which has the density of pinewood, with 3d printed eye mechanism of our design.  It uses 3 servos inside and the PCB is our design and programming.  He wakes up when sound is heard and randomly looks around, after appoximately 30 seconds he goes back to sleep for 5 minutes, if he hears sound after that he repeats looking around.  There is a knob underneath to adjust sensativity and also a "try-me" button if you want to overide the 5 minute wait.
